To add a task to your to-do list, simply type a few words or speak to your device to set a task title, decide who and when to it with a few taps, press the Plus button and the task is on your list.
When needed, you can edit a task at any time, either add a description, set priorities, reminders and timer controls, or group a task to a list. Task lists can be easily filtered by people, time, places or a project name, with sorting and search functions.
This app works closely with calendars as you can add a task to a calender on your device. Besides syncing tasks with the web version at astrid.com, you can also choose to sync them with your Google Tasks. It comes with automatic backups and allows you to import and export tasks when the need arises.
In Account and Settings, you can even set the app appearance to your liking such as color and widget themes, font size and many other options. On the downside, this app occasionally prompts you to upgrade to the premium version for advanced features which average users may not need.
